“Live Mortar”

Immigrants arrived in America hoping for streets paved with gold. Maybe there was some gold but not enough to pave the streets. So maybe the gold dream of America turned to brass, but at least we have this nice green ring around the country. However it is quickly disappearing. Our land is all we really have through manifest destiny we have gathered as much land as we could despite knocking off the rightful owners of the land. Since we have it lets take care of what we got. You can’t pave all of paradise. Like central park, we can organize our urban sprawl to harmonize with the landscape not take it over. Decide to use live mortar between our iron giants in the major cities of the US. The “Celestine Prophesy” by James Redfield gives insight into understanding why our society needs to keep safe some of the oldest natural environments in the world.
